Thanksgiving with the Mennonites!

So for Thanksgiving I saved my cash and went to a little cabin in a gorgeous little town. I hooked up with a Mennonite Service worker here, and she told me of this cabin of the churchs'!

Biking and Traveling in Tulua

We biked for four hours to my Colombian girlfriend's farm. The bike ride was amazing. Returning to town was fabulous and all down hill and only took two hours. The We were a sight when we returned. The country side was espectacular!

We stayed in this awesome house! This is the kitchen, and the yellow room behind is completely open to the sky! It has a little drain for the rain. The weather here is perfect.

Around Cali, Colombia

We hiked back to this waterfall. It was amazing because it was all rock. Where the water hit at the bottom was only 4 ft deep and I could go right under the waterfall. The pressure the water made would flip and push you all around, it was incredible.

My 27th birthday!
This is a finca of my friends. The rich Colombians all have these little "fincas" which are really little cabins.

These are some girlfriends. The one in yellow is the menno I met here!

I love the flowers here! They are all over!

My house in Colombia

Colegio Bolivar - My school and students

My students! I love my "window!"

My classroom is open on one side. You can see the light coming in on the left. We also have some amazing sky lights!

Biking In Colombia - Tierradentro

The second day, we did 40 km on a single track trail.

It was the only trail that would take people to some villages. I was an interesting sight.

The trip was 120 km in total. It was a spectacular ride, with some of the most amazing countryside I have ever seen. It looked a little bit like the valleys by Steamboat, Colorado.
